As the Canadian workforce shifts to a multicultural and inclusive environment, it’s imperative we embrace everyone with open arms.
“Our board identified that we need to embrace diversity and this is our third annual event,” said Judy Childs, General Manager of Newsask Community Futures Development Corporation. “We have to learn to do work and business together.”
The embracing diversity seminar was held at the Kerry Vickar Centre on Monday, March 20.
The keynote speaker of the conference was Tim Hortons franchise owner, Mark Wafer. He has become a trailblazer in creating a truly inclusive workforce in his business ventures.
